I created a LinkedIn page for the insurance company where I was employed as staff Content Designer building a small but significant follower group over the course of a year! To do that, I selected topics from industry news that were relevant to my company’s insurance plans. For example, if I saw in the news a study showing statistics about dental care among Medicare beneficiaries, I would write a post highlighting our plan’s dental benefits. I researched, wrote and designed graphics, charts and sourced stock images for the posts. I tracked the results, boosted posts for increased exposure and successfully developed a social presence for the company.
